Click on Edit, then Preferences.
Under "Mail & Newsgroups" click
on "Identity" and ensure that the settings
listed below are entered correctly.
Click on "Mail Servers", then
"Add" if you have no existing e-mail servers.
If you have an existing e-mail server, select
the server you want to change, then click
"Edit".
Ensure that the settings listed
below are entered correctly.
Click on the "POP" tab and ensure
that "Leave messages on server" is NOT checked,
then click "OK".
Enter or change the "Outgoing
mail (SMTP) server:" to the settings listed
below and click on "OK".
